Direct debit validation

TAAP has pioneered a direct debit facility/bank checker service for immediate verification and set-up, all from a mobile device (PDA). This fundraising software system has recently been trialled and proved successful with Shelter - the charity that works to alleviate homelessness and bad housing. It works directly with the donor’s bank in order to validate their account details and set-up a direct debit. This enables the fundraiser to complete the whole process whilst talking to the donor, without the need for further checks to take place at a later date.

TAAP Transaction

TAAP Transaction enables payments to be taken from credit and debit cards on a mobile device, without the need for a chip & PIN facility or a magnetic swipe reader. The techology requires the client to have a Merchant Services Gateway set up in order to take payments, and the software application does the rest. An email or sms receipt can be sent to the customer providing the payment, so they have a record of the transaction even though the process is totally paperless. Details of transactions (apart from credit card details) can be viewed and downloaded by the client so that they have a complete list of records. These are held on a secure website for a specified period of time.
