HPI automotive data now available on TAAP for mobile users

TAAP – the field service and data capture systems specialist – has released a new Vehicle Data component available within its suite of automotive applications. The vehicle look-up feature enables users of mobile devices loaded with TAAP’s software to make live checks on vehicle data provided by HPI.

This means that organisations wishing to validate vehicle data, whether for a vehicle inspection or repair, or whilst at an automotive show, can do so with the confidence that vehicle data is accurate and has been verified.

By entering the vehicle’s registration number, the service will allow users to pull back information such as make, model, colour, engine size, door plan etc. and will be invaluable in ensuring comprehensive verified vehicle data is shown.

Companies such as Smart Express - who focus on providing innovative solutions to vehicle smart repair companies - are using this integrated service to ensure that technicians can access accurate vehicle data for estimating and invoicing.
